About Me

Kalin Vitkov

With + years of experience in the IT, I have passed through different knowledge areas (Hardware, Software, Administration, Management). More than 15 years of virtualization experience. I have broad and deep knowledge/experience with many infrastructure service domains (having personally designed, implemented and supported all of them). I have had the chance of transforming a "Stone Age" infrastructure into a 21st century modern, secure and highly available infrastructure spread over a few continents. Another infrastructure was redesigned with geographically dispersed (across continents) data-centers.

I have management experience with diverse (fast and slow-paced) environments. I have successfully led different IT, Cloud and Support teams - built from the ground up by me, as well as built by other managers.
